ROAR - Revival of Our Alienated Republicans

Alienated Republicans are Traditionally...

  • Women

  • Conservatives/Patriotic Groups

  • Clergy and Evangelicals

  • Those running for School Board

  • Those running for City/Village Council

  • Those running for other City/Village races

  • Those running for Township Trustee

  • Minority and inner-city candidates

This is not to imply that there is any inherent racism in the Republican party. These are simply places where the Republican Party no longer excels or where Republican strategists no longer focus their efforts. The return on investment is just too costly for Republicans in the short term in many of these areas. We believe we can win in non-traditional Republican areas in the long term by establishing relationships built on mutual trust and through educational programs.

We believe any strategy that does not address the party's core weaknesses to be short-sighted. We also believe a Republican message can be well-received in diverse communities - when trust has been built and through education that pierces the veil of emotional rhetoric.

We are here to help educate women and men of all races to help work with and lead communities through the local establishment of conservative Republican initiatives and policies that are beneficial to prosperity and do not conflict with Biblical principles.

There are several reasons why Republicans should revive efforts to support traditionally alienated Republicans running for local offices such as School Board, City Council, and Township Trustees.

  • Local representation: Local elections are an opportunity for Republicans to have a voice in their community and to ensure that their values are represented in the decisions that are made at the local level. By supporting Republicans running for local office, they can have a direct impact on their community and make sure that their views are heard.

  • Building a pipeline: Local elections are often the starting point for individuals who are interested in running for higher office. By supporting Republicans running for local office, the party can build a pipeline of future leaders who can eventually run for state or federal office.

  • Increasing engagement: Local elections often have lower voter turnout compared to national elections. By encouraging Republicans to become involved in local elections, they can increase their own engagement and help drive up voter turnout in their community.

  • Developing policies: Local officials have the opportunity to develop policies that can serve as a model for other communities. By supporting Republicans running for local office, the party can help develop and promote policies that are in line with their values and vision for the future.

In conclusion, supporting Republicans running for local office is an important step in building a strong and engaged local party. It provides a platform for Republicans to have a voice in their community, builds a pipeline of future leaders, increases engagement, and helps develop policies that align with the party's values.
